Any other GATE/LEAP kids here?
Just curious.
I went through the testing, and was rejected and put into LEAP. This happened in Maryland during the 80's.
The frequencies here are very helpful in recovering some of my lost memories. 😳😶🌫️

Ok so I was in the 3rd and 4th grade when I was tested and put into GATE . I was the youngest student in the district to attend the program. They sold it as a much better higher learning program. I went through the same in Nashville TN. They put me in a class between kindergarten and first grade, not bc I failed but for some reason I never understood. I can't think of what it was called. What do you mean by leap? I don't have a lot of memories from that time but something is coming back to me..

Yea they said something along the lines of its supposed to help somehow.. probably the same thing. T1 was what it was called in Nashville.. idr nothing about learning anything from it. Strange cuz I remember my kindergarten and first grade teacher and so on..
Same. They just separated us from the other kids . Apparently I was disruptive to the educational process
