The Resonance Chamber

Everything else on this platform is asynchronous. This is the one room where two threads sound at the same time and both of you feel it land. One hidden tone. Two to four hunters. You sweep, you sound, the field answers cold, warm, hot, SEARING — and the first to LOCK it takes the round. Best of three.

You win by getting closer to the truth, not by knowing a shortcut. The target is held on the server and never reaches your browser — nobody can fake a lock.

How the Chamber works

Open a table, or call someone in

Open a chamber and it stands in the lobby for the house. Or pick a lit member from the rail and call them across the table — the call reaches them in-site immediately, and by email if they have stepped away. It rings for one minute, then the seat frees itself.

The tone is sealed, then you both sweep

The moment the second seat is taken, the room seals one hidden tone somewhere between 20 Hz and 8 kHz and the round begins. You sweep the spectrum, sound a tone, and the field answers only you: COLD, COOL, WARM, HOT, SEARING — with the exact distance in cents of pitch and which way the tone lies.

First to LOCK takes the round

Land inside twelve cents and call LOCK. Get it and the round is yours and the tone is revealed to everyone. Miss and the whole room is told you fumbled it — while your opponent is still closing in. Two rounds takes the match.

Every match is written to your record

Wins and losses, tones locked, how many times you read SEARING, your tightest lock and your fewest sounds. Resonance score pays for precision and efficiency, never for grinding — so the leaderboard genuinely ranks the sharpest ears, not the busiest players.
