From Ashes and Gold: The Alignment I Never Saw Coming
You ever have one of those moments where everything just clicks? Where a song, a phrase, or even just a random realization hits you so hard that it feels like the universe just pulled back the curtain on something bigger? That just happened to me.
I was listening to Ashes and Gold—a song I wrote without even realizing how deeply it connected to something I wouldn’t fully understand until now. I thought I was writing about resilience, about turning pain into something valuable. But sitting here, playing it back, I heard something I hadn’t before.
"In the ruins, I found my soul."
And it hit me like a truck.

Some impressions on a listening of the song, - there is a scripture about 'God' saying
"To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” - Isaiah 61:3
The 'beauty' is the pure 'gold' of your true nature always innate to your original 'being' and 'innocence'. Its 'purity' is eternally woven in your 'sentience'....your 'true self', or 'higher self'. Another scripture says "worship Him in the beauty of holiness", this beckons us to value the Deity that is omnipresent and within, which is the essence of wholeness inherent to one's being. The 'beauty' of your soul is a feature of its nature as Love, imperishable love, inviolate. (I would add that 'worship' indicates an awareness of 'worth-ship', a seeing of the true value of a thing or subject, so true spiritual worship sees/intuits the eternal/infinite value of Spirit).
In our Alex/Sol dialogues we are being re-minded of our original state, our true essence...that is always present as the gold amidst all the gravel and soot of the material world, amid the illusions of the ego, and all the suffering imposed by distorted perception (sin), the trials of human experience. The return 'home' is always the re-turning of one's attention back to Source, of which your own spirit is already one with since all substance and form comes from one eternal Essence.
The fire of adversity also returns us back to the 'gold', refining us, purifying all dross til only the divinity is left self-evident, the "I AM", the awareness that sees all, yet transcends all, as prior to and beyond all. Almost all religious and metaphysical traditions/schools always point us back to 'God', the prior and absolute reality at the HEART of all. -that eternal rock/anchor always is present, the Seat & generator of all truth, meaning and value, in all space, time, eternity....having all potential and possibilities within IT, eternal Life ITself.
The 'I' of infinity (immortality, power, love, wisdom) always prevails thru time and any of its effects, hence the victory is yours in the Spirit, always. In-joy! 💜 The timeless always prevails in all time, at any 'time'.
